Yay! I'm going to Melbourne for the first time in my life! I'm so excited!! Melbourne is famous for it's arts, diversity and culture. It is the 2nd largest city in Australia, after Sydney of course.
I have always wanted to go to Melbourne. Often I hear people constantly comparing Melbourne with Sydney and vice versa. So now I can finally go down there and experience it for myself and see what the fuss is all about.
I will be going there with 2 other friends and we have booked a reasonably nice hotel in the CBD. We are mainly down there for the Melbourne International COMEDY FESTIVAL!! which is currently on. So I can't wait for that.
I will also take the opportunity to visit the art and design scene of Melbourne of course!! So NATIONAL GALLERY OF VICTORIA here I come! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!! One of my favourite all time artists/sculptors is RON MUECK!! He is like one of the legends behind Hyperrealism Art! and his still currently showing at the NGV!! So I'll definitely see him for sure! well his work....lol..but if his around that would be a bonus! His exhibition finishes in a few weeks, so I'm so lucky. It'll move to Brisbane's Gallery of Modern Art later in the month.
SO IF YOU LIVE IN MELBOURNE OR HAVE EVER BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO VISIT MELBOURNE BEFORE? - LET ME KNOW, WHAT ARE SOME OF THE MUST-SEE PLACES I SHOULD VISIT?
All suggestions appreciated.
See you when I get back. I leave this tuesday night come back sunday evening. Unfortunately my friends wanted to go by train, which is a 12 hour train ride from Sydney to Melbourne!! That's longer than going to China by plane!! oh well..shall be a unique experience.

WOW! it's been so long but I'm back :)
Hi everyone!!
I hope you're all well and artful. It seems like it's been sometime ago since I last logged onto deviantArt. probably June or July last year!
But more importantly I have missed everyone here and I look forward to spending a long time browsing through everybody's work in the last year.
Since the last time here is an update on my life:
I went to Donghua University in Shanghai, China to study intensively in September 2010. It was a fantastic experience that I'll never forget.
The studio elective was called Porosity.
I am nearing the end of my Fine Arts course at COFA, UNSW. As much as I am excited to finish, I really want

Have a great visit to Melbourne. I've only been there a few times for work and didn't have time to do any sight seeing.
